“Is English language in the role of lingua franca, fading other languages?” was the topic of the debate session which was held by the Debate Club of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at AAB College.

This activity was evaluated by the jury composed of three professors of this faculty: Marika Butskhrikidze, Aida Alla and Bujar Rushiti, who decided in the end that the winning group was the one that defended the thesis that the English language does not negatively affect other languages.

Student debates aim to train students in public speaking, critical and analytical thinking, using accurate sources during argumentation, and building connections with students from other groups.
