The Faculty of Psychology at AAB College organized a lecture on the occasion of March 21 – International Down Syndrome Day, where Marigona Sadiku from the “Down Syndrome Kosova” Association (DSK) was invited.
During the lecture, Sadiku shared valuable information on Down Syndrome, addressing developmental and health aspects, challenges related to it, as well as some of the most common misconceptions.
Also, Sadiku presented DSK’s programs in support of people with Down Syndrome and the association’s awareness campaigns. The lecture was received with interest by the students, who actively participated through questions and discussion on the importance of advocacy and awareness for inclusion.
