The “EDU-LAB” project is approved for funding by the European Union under the Horizon Research and Innovation Actions program!
19 September 2024
The project aims to address the challenges and opportunities of young Europeans in their transitions from education and training (E&T) to the labor market, focusing on their equality, inclusion and participation in education and occupation. This initiative will systematically examine the main factors influencing the paths and choices of young people aged 15-30, including general and vocational education (ISCED levels 3-8), and their transitions to employment.
The main objectives of the project are:
- Development of comprehensive models of transition paths for each country of the European Economic Area (EEA), with a focus on cross-cutting and generic determinants influencing these transitions.
- Analysis of policies and investments that affect pathways to inclusion and equality for young people, with the aim of increasing the completion rate of general education (GE) and vocational education (PVET).
- Providing new quantitative and qualitative evidence, supporting policy decisions and reforms affecting transitions from education to the labor market, especially for underrepresented groups, such as ethnic minorities, gender and migrant youth.
The main partners of the project are:
- CEASS – Center for Comparative Eurasian Studies and Surveys, Austria
