As part of the observance of March 7 – Teacher’s Day and March 8 – International Women’s Day, the
Faculty of Economics at AAB College organized a special event dedicated to the role of women in
building and developing economic and business education in Kosovo.
The event served as a moment of reflection on the historical journey of women who have contributed to
the development of economic education in the country, emphasizing that the growth of this sector has
not only been the result of institutional progress, but also of the dedication and vision of many women
who have educated generations of professionals in economics and business.
Through discussions and reflections shared during the event, it was highlighted that economic and
business education has been one of the most important factors in the process of the socio-economic
emancipation of women in Kosovo.
Through this event, the Faculty of Economics at AAB College reaffirmed its commitment to promoting an
academic culture that values the contributions of women in the development of economic knowledge
and to supporting the empowerment of new generations of female students who will contribute to the
economy and society of the future.
