A workshop was held to review the strategy of AAB College, to determine the main orientations and strategic development measures of the institution during the next two years.

The workshop brought together the members of the board, the rectorate, the deans and the Students’ Union, while it was opened by rector Blerim Olluri, who emphasized the main direction for the further development of AAB.

This formed the basis for a series of presentations focused on the changing educational context, along with the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Furtuna Mehmeti, director of the Quality Assurance Office, presented the “New Accreditation Standards”, followed by a question and answer session, providing participants with critical insights into the evolving accreditation requirements.

After her, Nysret Bilallaj, director of the Office for IT, discussed “Advances in the electronic platform of AAB”, where he demonstrated the progress made in improving the digital infrastructure of AAB.

Ilir Osmanaj, invited guest, presented the “Dante AI” system, exploring the impact of AI on the work of AAB staff and students.

Vice-rector Petrit Bushi presented the critical areas of transition, digitalization and the role of digitalization in the institution’s strategy.

Professor Xhavit Rexhaj described the work flow of the workshop and presented its aim. Participants engaged in a plenary session to review AAB’s mission and vision, followed by working in groups to evaluate and refine the 2024-2026 Action Plan.

Each group was tasked with eliminating completed measures, modifying existing measures to better fit the new context, and designing new measures to address new challenges.

The results of the work and the proposed changes will be further discussed in a subsequent workshop designated by the rectorate.

This workshop marks a critical step in aligning AAB’s strategic direction with the goal of advanced education, ensuring that the institution remains at the forefront of innovation and excellence in higher education.
