To mark Flag Day and the 112th anniversary of Albania’s Independence, the Student Union of AAB College has organized a festive ceremony with songs, dances and artistic performances. Acknowledging the contribution of generations to freedom and independence, the ceremony marked moments of fun and celebration for the students who attended.
The Rector of AAB College Blerim Olluri, in his congratulations on this very important date for the entire Albanian nation, said that on November 28 a new chapter began, therefore the new generations must be educated to preserve the memory of those who gave their lives for freedom
“For Albanians, this day has a special meaning, because it symbolizes the struggle and sacrifices for freedom, a struggle that has continued for many years, from the moment of the declaration of independence until today. As a university, we have a duty to remember and educate younger generations about this sacred heritage, to preserve the memory of those who gave their lives for freedom and to ensure that their vision of a strong and united nation lives on through our academic work and social engagement”, said Olluri.
In this ceremony there were many artistic points such as: musical point by singer Sabri Fejzullahu, traditional Albanian dance from SHMU-2 with choreographer Saim Bivolaku, performance by AAB College Choir, musical point with guitar by Vullnet Haliti and artistic interpretation by the student of the Faculty of Mass Communication Albenita Sopaj.
