Organized by the Faculty of Computer Science and ICT Academy, the Winter School for Cyber Security and Privacy began today at AAB College.

Before a large number of participants and interested persons, the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Jusuf Qarkajija, spoke about the research and scientific work being done at AAB College and the projects that are expected to be realized in the future by the Faculty of Computer Science, as part of the Cyber Security and Privacy program.

In the first day of this Winter School, the focus was on information security, protecting critical infrastructures through concrete examples, and recommending some technical Cyber Security solutions.

Participants were actively engaged not only throughout the theoretical and practical development and demonstration of the above mentioned fields, but also on the enhancement of knowledge and training in identifying security vulnerabilities and protecting against cyber attacks.
