AAB College holds mini-workshop for World Internet Day

In the framework of marking World Internet Day, the Faculty of Computer Science organized a mini-workshop on the topic “How the Internet Works”.

Discussions and topics covered

During the workshop, fundamental and current issues were discussed, such as: How the Internet infrastructure works; The role of IP addresses and protocols that enable communication between devices; Security and privacy on the network, how to protect personal data and how to avoid cyber risks; The evolution of the Internet and its impact on academic and professional life, etc.

Benefits for participants

This workshop was evaluated as an excellent opportunity for students to deepen their knowledge of the basic concepts of information technology. Through discussions and practical examples, participants gained clearer understandings of how the Internet works at a technical level.
