Emphasizing the great importance of poetry, in a panel consisting of professors Bedri Zymberaj, Naile Demiri and Manjolla Lubishtani, a poetry day was organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences of AAB College, on World Poetry Day. The dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of AAB College, Saranda Shatri, said that the purpose of this organization is to highlight the artistic creativity of students. Professor Bedri Zymberaj addressed the topic of poetry and poetry day, where he mentioned the history of Albanian poetry in particular, with the most famous Albanian authors who left behind their works that have already crossed linguistic boundaries.
Professor Naile Demiri spoke about the immortality of Albanian literature alongside world literature, where she mentioned some of the works such as “Iliada” and “Lahuta e Malcis”, which include broad and important topics. While professor Manjola Lubishtani, for those present, showed the importance of the interpretation of poetry by educators to students, as she added that they have a fundamental role through efficient ways to make students enjoy it.
At the end, there were recitations by the students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, with their original poems, but also interpretations of poems by well-known Albanian authors.
