In the framework of World Radiology Day, the Faculty of Health Sciences at AAB College, in cooperation with the Association of Radiology Technicians of Kosovo, organized a series of professional, scientific and humanitarian activities.
International Conference “Strengthening Healthcare through High Quality in Imaging”
The activities began with the International Conference “Strengthening Healthcare through High Quality in Imaging: The Radiology Technician, the first pillar in modern diagnostics”, which brought together university professors, health experts and representatives of local and international institutions.
Practical Workshop “Thyroid Screening”
The practical workshop “Thyroid Screening” was also held within the framework of the conference, which took place in the modern radiology laboratory of AAB College. Students and participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of diagnostic imaging techniques, practice practical skills in the use of radiological equipment, and understand the importance of accuracy in the interpretation of diagnostic images.
Voluntary Blood Donation
The Faculty of Health Sciences also organized the “Voluntary Blood Donation Day”, in cooperation with the Kosovo National Blood Transfusion Center.
This humanitarian activity, which brought together about 50 volunteers, students and academic staff of AAB College, aimed to promote a sense of solidarity and social responsibility among the academic community.
