At the invitation of the rector of AAB College Lulzim Tafa, welcomed by vice-rector Venera Llunji and professor Jeton Kelmendi, the world-famous professor Sultan Catto gave a lecture to the students on the topic “History and philosophy of science in human development”. A detailed description of the role and importance of mathematics in the development of man, societies and all areas of life has been made by Professor Catto, who is the laureate of many international awards. Catto is a physicist who has an impressive teaching career while being recognized as a contributor to science over the years. In addition, he is also the author of dozens of poetry books that have been translated into many languages of the world.

Regarding his contribution, Catto has been nominated and therefore received the most prestigious awards such as the European Medal for Poetry and Literature, the European Medal for Arts, Sciences and Literature, the Literary Arts Medal of Intercultural Communications, the Hipolit Cegielski Medal, etc.
