Physical Culture and Sports

The Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports is one of the oldest faculties at AAB College. It was first accredited for the Bachelor’s program in Physical Culture and Sports in the 2007/08 academic year, followed by the accreditation of the Master’s program in the 2009/10 academic year. Currently, the faculty offers only two study programs:

Since its establishment in 2007 and the accreditation of its study programs, the faculty has developed a new approach to student preparation, aiming to modernize the training of professionals in physical education and sports. AAB College’s perspective on sports and physical culture is reflected in its curricula, which are aligned with countries that have well-developed educational systems and human resources comparable to those of Kosovo.

This means that AAB’s medium-term goal is to prepare qualified professionals who can address various aspects of physical culture and sports from a multidisciplinary perspective. These graduates will be equipped to address more than just a single dimension of physical culture. The faculty’s alumni are trained to meet the demands of the labor market in schools, contribute to public health improvements, and lead sports institutions and clubs at both national and international levels.

The mission of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports is to provide quality and multidisciplinary student centered education, which prepares responsible professionals who will become leaders of the transformational processes of society in the field of physical education, sports and health by offering innovative approaches to teaching, quality research and services in the community and industry.

In line with the AAB’s strategic development plan, the strategic objectives of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports are the following:
