On June 12, 2025, the launch ceremony of the HUMLIT – Humour Literacy project, an international project that aims to study the way humor is produced, circulated and received in the public spheres of Europe, was held at the Chamber’sl Theater of AAB College. This event marked a special beginning for this research initiative funded by the HORIZON MSCA program, where AAB is one of 23 partners from all over Europe.

The event gathered a diverse audience including academics, artists, comedians, students and other guests who shared an interest in the role of humor in society. In addition to the presentation of the objectives and key activities of the HUMLIT project, attendees had the opportunity to enjoy a fun atmosphere with short appearances by well-known film, theater and series actors, Valmir Krasniqi and Arta Lahu, as well as the Executive Director of Coolnfresh Magazine, Fisnik Çerkini.

The HUMLIT project aims to bring new perspectives on the cultural and social impact of humor in European public life, and the inclusion of AAB College in this consortium marks an important step in international scientific collaborations.
