Prof. Ramón Sanguino Galván and Prof. Ascensión Barroso visit AAB College as part of the academic staff exchange

AAB College welcomed this week Prof. Ramón Sanguino Galván and Prof. Ascensión Barroso from the University of Extremadura in Spain, within the framework of the Erasmus+ staff exchange program. This visit was carried out based on the inter-institutional cooperation agreement between the two institutions and aimed to strengthen the academic partnership, exchange experiences and expand opportunities for international cooperation.

During their visit, the Spanish professors were received in a meeting by the Rector of AAB College, Dr.Sc. Blerim Olluri, with whom they discussed the deepening of cooperation between the two institutions in various academic and research fields.

The professors were accompanied throughout their stay by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Venera Llunji, who coordinated the visit and organized meetings with the deans of all faculties of AAB College. In these meetings, topics such as: Opportunities for student and staff exchange within the framework of Erasmus+; Joint scientific publications and research collaborations; Joint international conferences and academic seminars; Development of joint projects funded by the European Union.

Professors Sanguino and Barroso presented a promotional video and a presentation about the University of Extremadura to the representatives of AAB College, sharing information about the academic programs, campuses, research activities and the cultural and historical heritage of the Extremadura region.

During their stay, they also participated in the important event of the launch of the new project of AAB College – HUMLIT, an innovative project that has secured financial support from European Union funds.

The visit of the representatives from the University of Extremadura was assessed as an important step towards strengthening international academic cooperation, with the aim of creating new opportunities for students and staff of both institutions.
