PhD. Diba Celina Baymak was born on October 3, 1990, in Prizren, where she completed her primary and secondary education. In 2014, she graduated from Anadolu University in Eskişehir, specializing in Fashion Design. In 2016, she completed her postgraduate studies at the University of Hasan Prishtina, in the field of Scenography and Costume Design, earning the academic title Master of Science (Mr.Sc.).
In 2018, she began her PhD studies in Folklore Studies at the Institute of Folklore – JNU, part of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, where she is currently in the final stages of completing and defending her dissertation.
Her professional career began in Istanbul, where she worked with renowned fashion designer Erol Albayrak, gaining valuable experience in the fashion industry. She then continued as a brand designer at the international company LC Waikiki, where her work and dedication were highly appreciated.
Following that experience, she fulfilled her dream of establishing her own fashion label in Kosovo by founding the brand “Diba Celina”

Since 2017, she has been part of the academic staff at AAB College, where she lectures in the field of fashion, teaching subjects such as Textile Technology, Design, and Textile Culture.
PhD. Diba Celina is a senior academic and manager with experience in the public, private, and academic sectors in Kosovo and the region. She has contributed to business management, higher education development, and has been actively involved in the fields of culture, art, and media—presenting a multidisciplinary and visionary profile.
Since 2018, she has served as an expert at the National Qualifications Authority, specializing in tailoring and design, contributing to the licensing and accreditation of educational institutions.
PhD. Diba Celina has participated in numerous conferences and has published articles in indexed scientific journals. Among her most notable publications are:
Alongside her academic career, Diba Celina is active in culture and art. She has been a panelist at the Autostrada Biennale from 2020 to 2025 and serves as the Curator of the International Festival “USUF – Awakening through Art”.
PhD. Diba Celina is a professional with a rich background and a significant role in bridging academia with the public and private sectors, corporate management, media, and cultural development. She is recognized for her dedication to quality, innovation, and institutional progress wherever she works.
