Luan Jaha

Profesor

Luan Jaha is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Nursing at AAB College. He serves as a professor of Surgery, Healthcare Service Quality, and Trends in Healthcare Management at this institution.

Throughout his academic career, Luan Jaha has held positions such as Professor of Surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry at AAB College, as well as professor of the subject Quality in Healthcare in the Master’s Program at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at AAB College. He has also lectured the subject Trends in Healthcare in the same program and faculty.

For several consecutive academic years (2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022), he has served as a Professor of Surgery and Surgical Nursing Care at the Faculty of Nursing at AAB College. During the same years, he lectured at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education at AAB College as a professor of Advanced Aspects of Biomechanics and professor of Anatomy in the Master’s Program of this faculty.

From the 2014/2015 to 2016/2017 academic years, he was a professor of the subject Special Physical Education at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education at the University of Prishtina. He also lectured the subject Sports Injuries and First Aid in the same faculty and university during those years.

For several years, he served as an Assistant in the subject General Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina” (2010/2011, 2013/2014, 2015/2015).

Luan Jaha is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the European Society for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, and a member of the College of Surgeons of Kosovo. He currently holds the position of Vice President of the Association of Surgeons of Kosovo and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Kosova Journal of Surgery. Moreover, he has served as Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the 4th and 5th Congress of the College of Surgeons of Kosovo.

Regarding his academic qualifications, Luan Jaha holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb, Republic of Croatia (1992). He earned a Master of Medical Sciences degree from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Prishtina, Republic of Kosovo (2006), and a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree from the Faculty of Medicine, “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia (2013).

He began his academic engagement as an Assistant in the subject Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Prishtina in 2010, and since 2020 he has served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Surgical Nursing Care at AAB College, Republic of Kosovo.
