Rrezarta Gashi

Prof. Assoc. Dr. Rrezarta Gashi was born on February 11, 1985, in Pristina, where she completed her primary and secondary education at the renowned “Sami Frashëri” Gymnasium. She pursued her university studies at the Faculty of Economics, University of Pristina, majoring in Management and Information Technology. In 2010, she earned her Master’s degree in Marketing from the same faculty. She successfully defended her doctoral dissertation in 2016 at the European University of Tirana, in the field of Management, earning the title Doctor of Economic Sciences.

Prof. Gashi is an experienced professional in both academic and business environments. She began her career in the private sector in 2008, serving as an Administration Manager at Lindi Group, and later worked as a Lecturer at Universum College. From 2010 to 2017, she was employed at ELKOS Group as Import and Sales Manager, playing a pivotal role in developing supply chain processes and international partnerships.

Since March 2017, she has been part of AAB College, initially serving as an Assistant Professor and later as an Associate Professor in the Department of Economic Sciences. She teaches courses including Consumer Behavior, Management, Quality Management, Globalization, E‑business, and European Economic Integration. Since 2024, alongside her academic responsibilities, she has also held the position of Import Manager at SPAR Kosovo, contributing to supply chain development and strategic management of imported products.

Prof. Gashi has made significant scientific contributions with over 20 publications in Scopus- and Web of Science‑indexed journals. She is the author and co-author of articles covering topics such as women’s entrepreneurship challenges, the impact of social media on economic development, remittances and economic growth in the Western Balkans, and econometric analysis of macroeconomic indicators. Her dedication to academic quality, research excellence, and industry linkage positions her as a powerful bridge between academia and the professional world in Kosovo. She mentors master’s candidates and leads interdisciplinary research projects.

Prof. Rrezarta Gashi is married, lives in Pristina, and has one son.
