Shkumbin Misini

Assistant Professor Dr. Shkumbin Misini, received his degree in ‘Economics’ from the University of Pristina’s Faculty of Economics (https://uni-pr.edu/) in 2006. In 2009, he completed his postgraduate studies in ‘Economics’ at the same university, earning a Master of Economic Sciences (MSc) degree. In 2018, he defended his doctoral dissertation on The Impact of Economic Growth on Unemployment in Kosovo’ at the University of Pristina, in the field of Economics, and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences, specializing in Economics.

Shkumbin Misini’s experience has been, and continues to be, in the fields of economic analysis, microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistical-econometric analysis, and probabilistic analysis. He began his career as a Researcher from 2004-2005 at the “RIINVEST” Institute in Pristina. From 2010-2017, he served as Deputy Director – General Manager at “Universum” College in Pristina. He then worked as a Lecturer of Economic Subjects (2018-2020) within the Faculty of Law at “Kadri Zeka” University in Gjilan, and as an Assistant for Economic Subjects from 2014-2018 at the Faculty of Economics within the same University in Gjilan. Since 2018, he has been a Professor at the Faculty of Economics at “AAB” University College in Pristina. Since 2022, he has also served as a Financial Judicial Expert within the Kosovo Judicial Council.
