Dentistry

The Faculty of Dentistry at AAB College was established in 2016 and in the past eight years has fulfilled its strategic and midterm goals by offering one of the most attractive dentistry programmes in Kosova. It has achieved significant milestones, including first graduates of the programme, the enhancement of its infrastructure and the recruitment of a highly qualified academic staff whose expertise and innovative methods have elevated the faculty’s academic standards.

Aligned with AAB’s overarching mission, the Faculty of Dentistry envisions preparing highly skilled dentists, proficient in both theoretical and clinical practice, that  will deliver exceptional healthcare services and contribute to the overall improvement of public health in Kosovo.

The mission of the Faculty of Dentistry is that it strives for excellence in teaching and learning in the field of dentistry, by providing hands on innovative and evidence based theoretical and practical teaching and learning experiences, it engages in basic and clinical research projects and generates new knowledge in all disciplines of dentistry to provide better services to community, and contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of Kosovo’s citizens. </p.

Bleron Azizi

Dean

Bleron Azizi was born in Ohrid, North Macedonia in 1989.

He completed primary and secondary school in the city of Kirčova, North Macedonia, while he completed his studies at the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Dentistry at the University of Pristina “Hasan Prishtina” in 2013.

He completed his doctoral studies at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Dentistry, and received the title of Doctor of Science in Dental Medicine/Oral Surgery at the University of Zagreb, in 2018.

Winner of the Best Doctorate Award 2018 from the University of Zagreb!

In January 2020, he completed his specialization in Oral Surgery at the University Clinical Center near the “St. Cyril and Methodius” University, Skopje.

Since 2019, he has been working as a lecturer and then as an assistant professor at AAB College, Faculty of Dentistry. At the same time, from 2023 he also works as a Professor at the Jaume I University, Castellon, Spain in the Master’s program for Dental Implantology.

He is the author and co-author of scientific papers published in journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. Active participant in international congresses and symposiums.

Teaches subjects:

Clinical Oral Surgery, Preclinical Oral Surgery, Dental Implantology.
