AAB College Faculty of Public Administration at Kosova PAR 2025: Exploring AI in Public Administration

September 3-4, 2025, the Faculty of Public Administration at AAB College participated in the Kosova PAR 2025 International Conference on “Capacity in Public Administration: for or through AI?”. This major event in Pristina, Kosovo brought together academics, international experts, policy-makers, and public administration professionals to explore the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in public sector capacity-building and modern governance.

The conference opened on September 3 with a formal ceremony attended by Prof. Ass. Dr. Vrullim Buja, Dean of the Faculty, along with Prof. Basri Muja, Prof. Albulena Brestovci, and a student delegation. Their presence highlighted AAB College’s commitment to bridging higher education, public institutions, and digital transformation in governance.

On September 4, the Faculty led the panel “The Impact of AI on Capacity-Building in Public Administration”, chaired by Prof. Vrullim Buja with Prof. Donik Sallova and Prof. Lavdim Terziu. The panel focused on how AI can enhance decision-making, modernize public services, and build sustainable institutional capacities. Discussions emphasized ethical, transparent, and responsible AI implementation, combining local and international experiences to provide practical recommendations for policy-makers and administrators.

The Faculty’s participation demonstrated more than academic contribution. It reflects AAB College’s ongoing dedication to knowledge creation, future leadership development, and building a modern, capable, and innovative public administration grounded in ethics and integrity.

By engaging in Kosova PAR 2025, AAB College and its Faculty of Public Administration strengthen their position in the international higher education landscape.
