The Faculty of Economics at AAB College marked a significant institutional milestone with the handover of the Dean’s office from Prof. Ass. Dr. Medain Hashani to the newly appointed Dean, Prof. Ass. Dr. Xhavit Islami.
During the ceremony, Dean Xhavit Islami praised the outstanding contributions of his predecessor, highlighting achievements in entrepreneurship, digital business, marketing, finance, and banking, as well as the preparation of students to meet the challenges of the digital economy and globalization.
Prof. Ass. Dr. Xhavit Islami emphasized that his priority is to continue the successful path established by the former Dean by promoting innovation, integrating advanced technology into teaching, developing students’ international competencies, and fostering a strong entrepreneurial culture. He pledged to introduce initiatives that will strengthen the Faculty of Economics’ position as a leading institution in economic and managerial education, prioritizing digital economy, innovative business, and preparing globally successful professionals.
