The Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Kosovo, in cooperation with AAB College, organized the promotion of the book “Ali Pashë Tepelena in World Art: Forerunner of Albanian Independence”, by the author Professor Luan Tashi. The event brought together personalities from the fields of academia, art and Albanian diplomacy.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Albania in Kosovo, H.E. Mr. Petrit Malaj, who with his presence honored the promotion and supported the efforts to illuminate the figure of Ali Pashë Tepelena in the international historical and artistic context, as an important testimony of the Albanian cultural heritage, also gave a special speech. Prof. Dr. Irakli Koçollari from the Academy of Sciences of Albania, reviewer of the book, shared with the attendees his academic analysis on the role of Ali Pashë Tepelena as a complex figure and precursor of the processes of Albanian independence.
The Rector of AAB College, Dr. Sc. Blerim Olluri, in his welcoming speech, emphasized the importance of the work and the author, assessing that this publication constitutes an important contribution to the field of historical and artistic studies, placing the figure of Ali Pashë Tepelena in a broad international cultural context, where history and art meet in the most noble way.
AAB College values the cooperation with the Embassy of Albania as an important opportunity for the promotion of scientific, historical and national values, emphasizing the importance of close ties between educational institutions and Albanian diplomatic missions. The promotion ceremony took place in the premises of AAB College.
