The Faculty of Computer Science at AAB College has organized a webinar on the topic “The Art and Science of Image Processing”, with lecturer Dr. Faruk Bulut, professor at the University of Essex.

The activity was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Prof. Arben Ahmeti, who emphasized the importance of these events for students. He added that meetings with international experts, such as Dr. Faruk Bulut, offer students the opportunity to learn from professionals with global experience in the fields of artificial intelligence and image processing.

Professor Bulut, during the lecture, shared his experience in practical applications of artificial intelligence, where he presented innovative projects such as: Detection of brain tumors through analysis of medical images; Real-time fire detection through CCTV cameras; Automatic face recognition with advanced Deep Learning techniques, etc.

The webinar also included students who had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss with the professor. This activity inspired students to delve deeper into the world of artificial intelligence and image processing.
