AAB College leads the Erasmus+ project “UNIGreen” to advance sustainability in higher education

AAB College has taken the lead role in the UNIGreen – Advancing Sustainability in Higher Education for the Benefit of All project, funded by the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) 2025 programme. This three-year project aims to integrate sustainability principles into the governance, administration and academic curricula of higher education institutions in the Western Balkans region.

Project objectives

The project addresses the urgent need for universities to become drivers of sustainable development, by building capacities for managerial, administrative and academic staff. Through trainings, workshops, new courses and collaborative platforms, UNIGreen will strengthen green development competencies and help universities implement sustainable policies and practices at the institutional level.

Expected results

• Creation of new university governance frameworks for sustainable development;
• Guidelines for green and efficient administrative practices;
• Courses and MOOCs dedicated to sustainability and green jobs;
• Collaboration platform between universities, businesses and civil society to promote sustainable employment.
