27 November 2025

AAB College hosted the roundtable “Voices Breaking the Silence”, an activity organized as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Violence, a global campaign aimed at raising awareness and combating all forms of violence against individuals, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or social status.

The meeting opened with remarks from AAB College representatives and Selvie Izeti, a psychologist at QKRMT, who emphasized the importance of education and support for survivors.

Dr. Feride Rushiti, Director of the Kosovo Rehabilitation Center for Torture Victims (KRCT), spoke about the institution’s key role in rehabilitation, justice processes, and ongoing support for survivors of sexual violence during the war.

The most emotional part of the roundtable featured testimonies from Vasfije Krasniqi and Shyhrete Tahiri, who shared their stories of courage, the significance of voice, dignity, and survivors’ rights.

Following the main discussions, a Q&A session was held with AAB College students, who expressed strong interest in the challenges, institutional support, and importance of social awareness.

This activity reaffirmed AAB College’s commitment to being a space for dialogue, awareness, and support on issues of significant social importance.
