The Rector of AAB College, Blerim Olluri, accompanied by Vice-Rectors Venera Llunji and Gëzim Shabani, as well as the Projects Office Officer, Ereza Mehmeti, held an important meeting with Her Excellency Edona Maloku-Bërdyna, Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to Portugal, at the premises of the Embassy of Kosovo in Lisbon.
The meeting was characterized by an open spirit of cooperation and a shared vision to strengthen the role of higher education in the international promotion of Kosovo. Discussions focused on contemporary developments in higher education, enhancing international cooperation, organizing scientific conferences and forums, as well as expanding opportunities for academic exchanges and joint projects.
Special emphasis was placed on the importance of international networking and international evaluation as key elements for improving academic quality and increasing the global visibility of Kosovo’s higher education institutions. The parties also discussed concrete opportunities to deepen cooperation with Portuguese and European institutions, using academic diplomacy as a bridge between countries.
Rector Olluri emphasized AAB College’s commitment to being a leading institution in the region in the fields of internationalization, scientific research, and innovation, while Ambassador Maloku-Bërdyna reaffirmed the Embassy’s readiness to support any initiative that contributes to the advancement of higher education and the dignified representation of Kosovo in Portugal.
This meeting represents an important step toward strengthening institutional cooperation and expanding international perspectives for the students and academic staff of AAB College.
