The Faculty of Law at AAB College organized the lecture titled “Child Safety on Social Media: Legal Limitations and Protective Measures.” The guest speaker was Ms. Flaka Xhelili Zekaj, Managing Attorney and Founder of FXZ Law LLC.
The event opened with introductory remarks by the Faculty Coordinator, Prof. Ass. Dr. Besard Belegu, who highlighted the importance of addressing this issue at a time when children’s use of social media is steadily increasing.
During her presentation, Ms. Xhelili Zekaj shared her professional expertise and experience with students, elaborating on the legal framework, institutional responsibilities, and preventive measures aimed at enhancing online safety.
This lecture contributed to strengthening students’ knowledge regarding the legal protection of children on social media platforms.
