The launch event of the “TBEAI” project, an initiative co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program, was successfully held. The event marked the official start of the project’s implementation, bringing together institutional representatives, academic staff, and partners interested in its development and execution.
The event opened with a welcoming speech by Dr. Sc. Ilir Bytyçi, Vice-Rector of AAB College, who highlighted the importance of international projects in advancing quality in higher education and emphasized that the college’s participation in EU-funded initiatives directly contributes to raising institutional standards.
Mimika Dobroshi, Director of the Erasmus+ Office in Kosovo, spoke about the transformative role of the Erasmus+ program in institutional development, noting that the TBEAI project exemplifies the strong commitment of Kosovar institutions to being active participants in the European Higher Education Area.
Prof. Arben Ahmeti, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, focused on the academic and technological dimension of the project, stating that TBEAI creates tangible opportunities for developing advanced skills in technology and innovation.
Arta Musollaj, Project Officer, presented the project’s managerial and structural aspects, highlighting the importance of coordination between academic and administrative units to ensure the achievement of project objectives.
Prof. Engin Melekoglu, Project Coordinator, outlined the vision and key objectives of TBEAI, emphasizing the goal of establishing a sustainable framework for collaboration and innovation that will produce measurable outcomes in enhancing academic and professional capacities.
The event concluded with closing remarks and discussions on the next steps of project implementation. TBEAI is expected to significantly strengthen institutional capacities, advance academic quality, and deepen international collaboration for AAB College within European programs.
