As part of the commitment to enhancing teaching quality, a specialized training module titled “The Use of Humor in Higher Education” was recently held at AAB College. Led by Prof. Aleksandar Takovski, the session offered an in-depth exploration of the vital link between emotional intelligence and pedagogical effectiveness in the modern university landscape.
This training focused on the importance of building a positive and supportive climate during lectures, considering humor as a pedagogical tool that helps create a more open, inclusive, and stimulating environment for learning.
An important dimension of the module was also the professional well-being of the academic staff. It was emphasized that the development of emotional competencies and the use of humor as a positive coping mechanism directly impact the reduction of professional burnout and the strengthening of resilience within the university environment.
This training represents a significant step toward advancing the quality of pedagogical interaction and promoting innovative practices in higher education.
