AAB College had the honor of welcoming an academic delegation from the University of Applied Sciences Schmalkalden, Germany, on an official high-level visit aimed at strengthening international cooperation and expanding the academic partnership between the two institutions. The delegation was received by the Rector of AAB College, Dr.Sc. Blerim Olluri.
The German delegation consisted of Dr. Paul Voerkel, M.Eng. Venkata Prashanth Uppapalati, Prof. Dr. Kurt Englmeier, and Prof. Dr. Frank Schödel.
During the meeting, the parties discussed concrete opportunities for deepening cooperation in strategically important and globally relevant fields, including student and staff exchange, the development of joint research projects, as well as the organization of international academic
activities.
Particular emphasis was placed on AAB College’s interest in advancing priority areas of the future, such as computer science, artificial intelligence (AI), engineering, and digital technologies, which represent key pillars of global academic and industrial development.
Both institutions highlighted the importance of this cooperation as a significant step toward increasing internationalization, enhancing academic quality, and strengthening ties with European universities. They also emphasized their joint commitment to creating new opportunities for students and academic staff within international programs and collaborative projects.
This visit represents an important development in AAB College’s internationalization strategy and in its consolidation as an institution oriented toward innovation, scientific research, and global cooperation.
