Within the framework of International Nurses Day, the Faculty of Health Sciences at AAB College, in cooperation with Dokuz Eylül University, organized an international health conference addressing important topics in the field of medical and nursing sciences.
During the conference, participants discussed significant themes including “Care for the Elderly Surgical Patient – Delirium” and “Work Characteristics as Predictors of Nurses’ Professional Performance in Kosovo.” These presentations generated professional discussions regarding the contemporary challenges faced by the healthcare system and the importance of evidence-based nursing practices.
In addition, Prof. Vlora Ejupi presented a research study examining work characteristics as predictors of nurses’ professional performance in Kosovo. The study analyzed the factors influencing the performance and efficiency of nurses across different levels of the healthcare system, highlighting key aspects related to professional practice and healthcare delivery.
The conference was characterized by professional dialogue and scientific presentations, emphasizing the importance of advancing nursing practices, strengthening academic research, and promoting the exchange of knowledge and expertise within the healthcare sector.
