AAB College Strengthens International Academic Cooperation Through Erasmus+Exchange with Universidad de Extremadura

As part of the ongoing Erasmus+ cooperation between AAB College and Universidad de Extremadura, AAB College welcomed two distinguished academics from Spain: Awf Al-Kassir and Eduardo Manuel Cuerda Correa.

The academic visit represents another important step in the internationalization strategy of AAB College and the strengthening of European academic partnerships through the Erasmus+ programme, fostering academic mobility, intercultural dialogue, and collaborative opportunities in higher education and research.

During their stay in Kosovo, the professors were officially welcomed by Venera Llunji, Vice- Rector for International Affairs and Cooperation at AAB College, who emphasized the importance of sustainable international cooperation in advancing academic excellence, innovation, and global engagement.

The delegation also held meetings with Arvesa Studenica, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, and Arben Ahmeti, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Sciences at AAB College, discussing possibilities for future academic collaboration, joint projects, research initiatives, and faculty and student mobility.

As part of their official programme, the visiting professors participated in the opening ceremony of the 10th anniversary edition of the Prishtina International Theater Festival, one of the most significant cultural events in the country, reflecting Kosovo’s vibrant artistic and cultural scene.

The delegation also held high-level institutional meetings with Albulena Haxhiu, President of the Republic of Kosovo, and Saranda Bogujevci, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo, where discussions focused on the role of international academic and cultural cooperation in strengthening European values, education, youth engagement, and cultural diplomacy.

During their visit, the professors toured the modern campus facilities of AAB College and also visited ATV, gaining closer insight into the educational, media, and cultural landscape of Kosovo.

This visit further confirms AAB College’s growing international presence and its commitment to building meaningful partnerships with leading European universities through Erasmus+, creating new opportunities for students, academic staff, and institutional development on an international level.
