As part of marking World Health Day, the Faculty of Health Sciences at AAB College organized a lecture titled “Together for Health: Quality, Safety, and Preparedness of the Healthcare System,” featuring Prof. Ass. Luan Jaha—a vascular surgeon and professor with extensive experience in medicine and higher education.
During the lecture, key dimensions of a functional healthcare system were addressed, focusing on three fundamental pillars: equal access to healthcare services, quality of patient care, and financial affordability.
Prof. Jaha emphasized the importance of building a sustainable system that ensures continuous healthcare, both in emergency situations and in the everyday needs of citizens.
This activity was seen as an important contribution to raising awareness about the challenges and priorities of the healthcare sector, while also strengthening the role of students and future professionals in building a more efficient and sustainable healthcare system.
