AAB College Strengthens International Cooperation at the Reception Marking Croatia’s Statehood Day

At the invitation of Her Excellency, Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Kosovo, Ms. Danijela Barišić, Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Cooperation of AAB College, Venera Llunji, participated in the official reception held on the occasion of Croatia’s Statehood Day (Dan državnosti Republike Hrvatske), the most important national holiday of the Republic of Croatia.

The event gathered distinguished representatives of diplomatic missions, academic institutions, and international partners, highlighting the strong cultural, political, and academic ties between Croatia and Kosovo, as well as the broader importance of regional and European cooperation.

Prof. Dr. Venera Llunji attended the ceremony together with two distinguished professors from the University of Extremadura, Spain, Prof. Dr. Eduardo Manuel Cuerda Correa and Prof. Dr. Awf Al-Kassir Abdulla, who had completed a 10-day academic staff mobility at AAB College within the framework of international exchange and Erasmus+ cooperation activities.

During the reception, Vice-Rector Llunji and the visiting professors had the opportunity to meet with Ambassador Barišić, where they engaged in discussions on the importance of strengthening international academic cooperation, staff mobility, Erasmus+ partnerships, and inter-university collaboration. The conversation also emphasized the strategic role of higher education institutions in supporting Kosovo’s European integration process and fostering long-term academic and institutional partnerships within the European Higher Education Area.

AAB College continues to expand its internationalization strategy through active participation in diplomatic and academic events, reinforcing its commitment to quality education, research collaboration, international mobility, and European integration of higher education in Kosovo.
