On the occasion of International Speech Therapy Day, the Faculty of Health Sciences at AAB College organized a lecture for students to highlight the importance of speech therapy for communication health.
The lecture was delivered by Professor Bardha Kika, titled “The Power of Voice and Speech: The Role of the Speech Therapist in Health and Communication.” She presented the role of speech therapists in diagnosing and treating speech and language disorders, emphasizing their impact on improving individuals’ quality of life.
Students had the opportunity to learn about voice and speech rehabilitation techniques, as well as the importance of early intervention in language disorders. The activity was accompanied by interactive discussions and questions that encouraged students’ interest in this field.
This activity marked a special recognition of International Speech Therapy Day, highlighting the importance of speech therapists for people’s health and well-being.
