Within the framework of the interdisciplinary Jean Monnet module “Legal Education on Gender Equality in the EU: Integring EU Frameworks into Law Curriculum,” a guest lecture was held at AAB College featuring State Prosecutor Ms. Laura Pula, a representative of the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor and National Coordinator for Domestic Violence.

The lecture was delivered as part of the course “Gender Equality in the European Context,” organized by Ms. Ganimete Ismajli, project coordinator and course lecturer. During the session, students gained practical insights into the implementation of legislation and the challenges associated with addressing
gender equality issues, in line with international standards within the justice system of the Republic of Kosovo.

The activity highlighted the importance of gender equality as one of the fundamental values of the European Union and emphasized the need for its integration into teaching. It also strengthened the link between theory and practice for students of the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Foreign Languages. On this occasion, Prosecutor Pula highly appreciated the inclusion of this subject as a distinct course in the curriculum of AAB College, underlining the importance of early legal education in this field.
