The Faculty of Economics of AAB College was represented at an international roundtable organized by International Balkan University in Skopje.
The roundtable, entitled “Bridging AI, Green Transition, and Higher Education: Preparing Skills for a Sustainable Future,” brought together international academics and experts to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence and the green transition on higher education and the labor market.
Representing AAB College, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Asst. Dr. Xhavit Islami, accompanied by Prof. Assoc. Dr. Besime Ziberi, participated as panelists, contributing to academic discussions focused on contemporary labor market developments.
During the event, Prof. Asst. Dr. Xhavit Islami presented the topic “Artificial Intelligence and Employee Creativity,” examining the influence of artificial intelligence on employee creativity and highlighting the importance of organizational practices that foster innovation in technology-supported work environments.
Meanwhile, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Besime Ziberi delivered a presentation entitled “A New Labor Market Order: AI, Digitalization and the Green Transition in the Western Balkans,” addressing the impact of digitalization, artificial intelligence, and the green transition on labor market structures, as well as the challenges and opportunities facing Western Balkan countries.
Participation in this international event reflects the Faculty of Economics’ ongoing commitment to contributing to academic debates and strengthening international cooperation in the fields of economics, technology, and sustainable development.
