AAB College and the Kosovo Police Union (KPU) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation in the fields of higher education in Kosovo, professional development, and academic advancement for members of the Kosovo Police, while also expanding access to higher education opportunities for their family members under preferential conditions.

The agreement was signed by the Rector of AAB College, Dr.Sc. Blerim Olluri, and the President of the Kosovo Police Union, Mr. Avdi Hoti, formalizing a strategic institutional partnership designed to enhance human capital development and strengthen the professional capacities of law enforcement personnel in Kosovo.

Through this cooperation, the two institutions aim to expand access to Bachelor (BA) studies in Kosovo, Master (MA) programs in Kosovo, and specialized professional certification programs in the areas of law enforcement training, security studies, and capacity building for public safety institutions. The agreement also places strong emphasis on lifelong learning and continuous professional development for members of the Kosovo Police.

As part of the agreement, AAB College will provide a range of academic and financial benefits, including tuition fee discounts for higher education in Kosovo, flexible payment options with installment plans, and tailored admission conditions for Kosovo Police Union members and their families. These opportunities are designed to support broader participation in private higher education in Kosovo, while ensuring accessibility and academic excellence in line with European standards.

Rector Olluri stated that this partnership reflects AAB College’s long-term commitment to connecting higher education institutions in Kosovo with key public sector organizations. He emphasized that such collaborations directly improve institutional performance, professional standards, and employability outcomes for students and professionals alike.

President Hoti highlighted that the agreement represents an important step toward strengthening the professional competencies of Kosovo Police personnel, underscoring that investment in education and training is essential to improving operational efficiency and the quality of public services within Kosovo’s security sector.

This AAB College–Kosovo Police Union cooperation agreement is expected to generate sustainable impact by fostering stronger links between academia and public institutions, promoting workforce development, and enhancing the overall quality of higher education and professional training in Kosovo.
