The Rector of AAB College, Dr.Sc. Blerim Olluri, held an official meeting with the Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Hajrulla Çeku, to discuss the co-organization of the AI & Tech Summit 2026, one of the most significant upcoming international events in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and technological innovation in Kosovo.
During the meeting, both parties emphasized the strategic importance of organizing the summit as an international platform that will bring together higher education institutions, public institutions, the technology industry, artificial intelligence experts, innovators, and entrepreneurs. The summit aims to create a dynamic space for knowledge exchange, the presentation of best practices, and the development of new national and international partnerships.
A central topic of discussion was the potential co-organization of the AI & Tech Summit 2026 by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and AAB College. This partnership was highlighted as a significant model of cooperation between public institutions and higher education, contributing to the advancement of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in Kosovo. It was further emphasized that this initiative supports the strategic objectives of the Ministry in enhancing the quality of higher education and strengthening the national innovation ecosystem.

In conclusion, both parties expressed their readiness to further deepen institutional cooperation in projects of mutual interest, aiming to strengthen Kosovo’s position in higher education, scientific research, technology, and innovation.
The AI & Tech Summit 2026, scheduled to take place on 3–4 September 2026 at AAB College, aims to position Kosovo as a regional hub for dialogue on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and innovation, while building strong bridges between academia, public institutions, and the technology industry.
