During an important institutional meeting, the Rector of AAB College, Dr. Sc. Blerim Olluri, met with the Minister for Digitalization and Public Administration, Mr. Lulëzon Jagxhiu, to discuss the organization of the International AI & Tech Summit 2026, which will be hosted by AAB College on 3–4 September 2026 as one of the region’s most significant events dedicated to technology and artificial intelligence.
The meeting focused on the strategic alignment between the mandate of the Ministry for Digitalization and Public Administration and the central theme of the Summit, emphasizing that the digital transformation of public administration, e-Government services, artificial intelligence (AI), and technological innovation are fundamental pillars of modern institutional and societal development.
In this context, AI & Tech Summit 2026 was recognized as an international platform of strategic importance, designed to bring together academia, public institutions, the technology industry, and leading global experts in artificial intelligence to promote digital transformation, innovation, and sustainable development.
The discussion also highlighted the importance of institutional cooperation in organizing the Summit, positioning the Ministry for Digitalization and Public Administration as a key strategic partner in advancing digital policies, fostering innovation in public services, and accelerating the integration of emerging technologies into public governance. This partnership reflects a shared vision for modernizing higher education and public administration while aligning them with European standards of digital governance.
The Summit is expected to attract broad international participation, including world-renowned artificial intelligence experts, representatives of prestigious higher education institutions, leading global technology companies, innovative startups, policymakers, and public sector representatives.
