AAB College Strengthens Its International Presence in the Czech Republic through Strategic Partnerships and the Erasmus+ TEAMCRAFT Project

The Rector of AAB College, Prof. Dr. Blerim Olluri, together with Vice-Rectors Bujar Tafa, Gëzim Shabani, and Venera Llunji, as well as representatives of the Office for Project Development, Erëza Mehmeti and Arta Musollaj, participated in the International Week organized by Newton University in Brno and Prague, Czech Republic. The AAB College delegation was welcomed by Mr. Robert Michael Westbrook, MBA, LL.M., Mr. Mgr. Jiří Peřina, as well as by the academic staff and programme leaders of Newton University, in an inspiring atmosphere of cooperation, dialogue, and exchange of ideas aimed at further advancing higher education.
One of the central topics of the meetings was the successful approval of the joint project “TEAMwork and Social Competence: Reflective Assessment & Mentoring through Face-to-face Training (TEAMCRAFT)”, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, Partnership for Cooperation (KA220-HED). This project represents an important achievement for both institutions, creating a new platform for collaboration in the development of social competences, mentoring practices, and reflective assessment approaches in higher education. During the meetings, discussions were also held regarding the proposal for AAB College to become a member of the Czech Universities Alliance, representing an important step towards strengthening institutional cooperation and expanding international academic networks between higher education institutions in Kosovo and the Czech Republic.


The following days were marked by intensive working group activities held in both Brno and Prague. The discussions focused on strategic topics related to the future development of higher education, including leadership, the future of management education, and the crucial role of higher education institutions in preparing future leaders. Participants explored the importance of developing coherent and forward-looking concepts for higher education, executive education, and professional training in the field of leadership. Particular emphasis was placed on the need to prepare capable leaders who can successfully operate and contribute within diverse professional and social environments.


All discussions and activities conducted during the International Week were guided by the shared commitment to further deepen cooperation between AAB College and Newton University, with the common goal of enhancing the quality of higher education and creating new opportunities for students and academic staff of both institutions.
This participation represents another significant step in AAB College’s ongoing internationalization process and reflects its continuous commitment to building strategic partnerships that directly contribute to academic excellence, innovation, and institutional development.
