As part of their commitment to promoting innovation, digital transformation, and the advancement of emerging technologies in Kosovo, the Rector of AAB College, Blerim Olluri, and the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Venera Llunji, held a meeting with the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Innovation(MINTI), Ms. Mimoza Kusari-Lila.
The discussions focused on the organization of the International Summit on Artificial Intelligence and Technology, which will take place on 3–4 September at AAB College, bringing together national and international experts, representatives of public institutions, academia, industry, and the private sector.
The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation between public institutions and higher education institutions in shaping policies that foster innovation, technological advancement, and the preparation of highly qualified professionals capable of addressing the challenges of the digital era.
Rector Olluri presented the vision and objectives of the summit, emphasizing that this initiative aims to become a leading international platform for discussing the latest developments in artificial intelligence, exchanging best practices, and establishing new strategic partnerships.
Minister Kusari-Lila highly appreciated AAB College’s initiative, reaffirming the importance of integrating artificial intelligence and innovative technologies into institutional processes and the country’s economic development agenda. She also expressed MINTI’s readiness to contribute to the summit sessions and to explore new avenues of cooperation with AAB College in areas that connect academia, public institutions, and the private sector.
Both parties agreed that interinstitutional cooperation is essential for fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation, as well as for creating a sustainable ecosystem that supports Kosovo’s economic development and international competitiveness.
Through the organization of the International Summit on Artificial Intelligence and Technology, AAB College continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading higher education institutions in the country and the region in promoting knowledge, innovation, and international cooperation, while creating a platform that will contribute to shaping Kosovo’s technological future.
