Shenaj Mumini
Shenaj Mumini was born on September 1, 1979, in Prishtina, where she completed her primary and secondary education. In 2006, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Prishtina, in cooperation with Glasgow Caledonian University. In 2025, she completed her Master’s degree in Paramedical Sciences.
Since 2010, she has been employed as a nurse in the Resuscitation Room of the Emergency Clinic at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK). Her daily work involves confronting the limits of time and resources, yet never the will to stand by the patient.
Her role has also expanded into the field of professional education. Since 2019, she has served as a clinical practice assistant at AAB College, where she strives to impart to students not only technical skills but also the ethics of care.
Beyond the hospital and lecture hall, Shenaj has also been involved in social and humanitarian initiatives. Between 2022 and 2024, she contributed as a nurse in the organization Terre des Hommes, working on projects aimed at protecting street-involved children and preventing human trafficking.
