Shenaj Mumini was born on September 1, 1979, in Prishtina, where she completed her
primary and secondary education. In 2006, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from
the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Prishtina, in cooperation with Glasgow
Caledonian University. In 2025, she completed her Master’s degree in Paramedical Sciences.
Since 2010, she has been employed as a nurse in the Resuscitation Room of the Emergency
Clinic at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK). Her daily work involves
confronting the limits of time and resources, yet never the will to stand by the patient.
Her role has also expanded into the field of professional education. Since 2019, she has
served as a clinical practice assistant at AAB College, where she strives to impart to students
not only technical skills but also the ethics of care.
Beyond the hospital and lecture hall, Shenaj has also been involved in social and
humanitarian initiatives. Between 2022 and 2024, she contributed as a nurse in the
organization Terre des Hommes, working on projects aimed at protecting street-involved
children and preventing human trafficking.
