Two professors of AAB College, Prof.ass.dr.Arianit Maraj and Prof.ass.dr.Albulenë Kastrati, both Fulbright Alumni, have won the “Discover STEM for Her Kosovo” project, within the call of KUSA (Kosovo United States Alumni) in the Small Grants Program.
This project, funded by the US Embassy in Prishtina and administered by KUSA, was developed in partnership with AAB College, and aims to raise awareness among girls about their involvement in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) profiles.
The project leaders show that within this project, so far awareness trainings have been held in six high schools in two municipalities, Rahovec in three schools and in Kamenica as well in three high schools.
In addition, one of the high schools in the Municipality of Kamenica involved in these trainings belongs to the Serb minority.
The project is towards completion, and at the end of it, there will be organized a workshop which will take place at AAB College, where in addition to project funders and administrators, it will be attended by representatives of institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, but also women representatives of the respective industry.
