In the occasion of 21st March,the World Poetry Day,last night at the Theatre of AAB “Faruk Begolli” was organized a poetry event where students and the academic staff of this College have read several poetries of Albanian and International poets.

 At the opening part of the event the Rector of AAB College  Lulzim Tafa, said that what impresed him most was the fact that World Happiness day was marked a day before  the world Poetry Day  which are close to one another.

What constantly  has provoked me is why the Poetry Day is a day after the Day of Happiness? Does happiness ends where poetry begins or poetry begins where happiness ends? The very best answer was given today to us by AAB College, which  joint together the Happiness and  Poetry Day at one. Although this institution was established as an institution of the arts and at a day like this, even as a poet, I can not help but remembering  some of our famous poets who are unfortunately no longer among us. Recently we lost the D.Agolli, while in recent years Ali Podrimjen, Azem Shkrel, Mirko Gashi, Din Mehmeti, Rrahman Dedaj and other poets, who may be considered as  representatives of Albanian poetry,said Rector  Tafa.

According to him when it comes to poetry  no words are needed  because only those who write poetries can talk about it ,being so,actors are those who interpret and readers  are those that enjoy .

He also read a poetry by Ali Podrimja,that according to him he  is the best Kosovo and Albanian writer of all time.
