Today, the sixth edition of PITF2022, bearing the name of the artistic director Burbuqe Berisha, begins its sixth journey. The first conference was held in the presence of many media, the panel of which were the director of this year’s PITF2022 festival Doruntina Alshiqi and the actor and director of today’s show, Enric Lizano Sans.

The competition of the only international theater festival in Kosovo is opened with the play “I left” from Spain. Asked how they were received in Kosovo, the Spanish team said they were happy, describing Kosovo as a very welcoming country despite the political situation between the two countries.

Whereas, the director of the festival, Doruntina Alshiqi, spoke about the challenges and the final preparations of this edition.

“As part of the competitive program of this edition, theatrical troupes from Spain, Italy, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo will perform on the stages of the two theaters. As in previous editions, the evaluation will again be done by three juries: the main jury, the media jury, and the student jury.”

PITF 2022 will continue until Monday, May 16, when the solemn award ceremony will be held.
