The Faculty of Foreign Languages at AAB College Hosts a Hybrid Lecture in Cooperation with the University of Szeged, Hungary

At the Faculty of Foreign Languages of AAB College, a hybrid lecture was held within the course on American Literature. The lecture, titled “A Brief Survey of Modern American Drama: Eugene O’Neill, Tennessee Williams, Arthur Miller and Edward Albee,” was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Réka M. Cristian, lecturer at the Department of American Studies at the University of Szeged, Hungary.

The professor, an internationally recognized scholar known for her contributions to modern American literature, American studies theory, and film studies, presented a historical overview of the development of drama in the United States, with a particular focus on the modern period.

During the lecture, she offered critical analysis and new perspectives on the role, contribution, and works of four distinguished playwrights: Eugene O’Neill, Tennessee Williams, Arthur Miller, and Edward Albee. This topic forms part of the academic curriculum of the course, and the lecture was coordinated with the course instructor, Fatmir Ramadani, who invited the professor for this collaboration.

Students participated with strong interest, contributing with questions and engaging in various discussions.
