Journalism students of the Faculty of Mass Communication at AAB College, as part of the activities of the Young Journalists Club, marked World Television Day. On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty, Resul Sinani, gave a short presentation to the students on the most historic moments through which the development of television as a medium has passed.
The event continued with the screening of two films for students: “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” and “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues”.
At the conclusion of this activity, prompted by the presentation of the historical events of television development and the content of the films, the students discussed the moments that impressed them, since although the films are comedies, they carry many real-life examples within them. It was also concluded from the discussion with the students that the television product, because of the internet and the technological developments of our time, is now reaching out to those social groups that it could not reach through simple television channels.
