AAB College students climb the top of mount Luboten to mark the International Olympics day

23 June 2021

The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of AAB College has marked June 23, International Olympic Day, by climbing to the top of Luboten.

The top of Luboten is considered to be one of the highest peaks in our country standing at an impressive 2,498 meters above sea level.

This annual expedition was attended by both professors and students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports. However, unlike the previous years, this year’s expedition was supported by the Kosovo Olympics Committee.

This celebration of the International Olympics Day by climbing the peak of Luboten was also a preparation for the next challenge and expedition; because in July of this year, the students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports will attempt to climb the highest peak in the Albanian Alps, the peak of Gjeravica with an altitude of 2,656 meters.
